Oak Park Commons is a 24-household co-housing community. We are currently under construction with expected occupancy in October 2025.
Built on the site of a former neighborhood grocery store parking lot, this five-story luxury condominium development was originally envisioned as a 14-unit building. It turned out to be 11 units as we worked with multiple design teams and homeowners to combine and customize units. Residences at Maple Place is one of the first LEED Gold luxury condo buildings outside of the city of Chicago, having attained the rare status through the use of innovative products and construction practices. Built from lot line to lot line, Maple Place is a byproduct of having worked closely with the local municipality throughout the planned development process. We took the extraordinary measure of re-building the steel structure of an adjacent retail business’ roof to enable it to withstand additional snow load created by the new construction—all while the business continued operations. In addition, a strong design flourish on the building’s east side comes in the form of a strikingly attractive mosaic that tapped into the skills of local artists.
An urban infill, transit-oriented development. It rose up from a site where multiple buildings were razed to make way for this four-story mixed-use project. Consisting of 17 four-story townhomes, 12 condos and a commercial first-floor space occupied by a real estate office. SoHo is situated next to rail lines. While such proximity offers easy access to it raised the need for sound attenuation that we successfully provided. The build-out of 65,000 square feet of space is a combination of contemporary and traditional design. The $14 million project included us shepherding the construction of a private lane, coordinating that process with the Department of Transportation and local and regional officials.
This high-end five-story custom condo building transformed a vacant lot in downtown La Grange. Altierra employed a traditional design with a decidedly untraditional challenge: how to synthesize the preferences of several architects and designers who represented buyers from one unit to the next. The 18 units ranged from 2,800 square feet to 4,200 square feet.
North Edge Townhomes is a mixture of single level and two-level homes. The design is contemporary with a mixed material exterior finish of brick, cement and metal finishes. The interiors boast unique finishes for each unit, creating a contemporary-retro look including steel staircases, polished concrete floors, streamline cabinets, and live edge wood shelving along with vintage look fixtures and appliances. Implementing panelized construction with other time saving construction methods, we were able to complete the construction on time in under eleven months with all residents moved in within a year from start of construction.
This Townhome project is a prime example of modern and sophisticated living. The townhouses consist of nine units, each spread over three floors, providing ample space for comfortable living.
With construction currently underway, these 3-floor townhouses will boast bold design, contemporary styling, and first-class features, setting a new standard for quality and luxury living. Each of the 7 townhouses features a spacious 2-bedroom floorplan with an impressive open living area and generous outdoor space, designed with an emphasis on space and light.
This development features 19 sets of exquisite townhouses, each spanning the 3rd floor, offering a truly elevated living experience. Situated on a spacious house land area of 4111m², these townhouses provide a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and privacy.
